Quick Start
In a few minutes you'll send a recognition, watch it earn points, and redeem your first reward. This is the fastest path to seeing the core GiftSpark loop end to end. It assumes you've already set up your account and joined an organization.
Step 1 — Open the feed
The recognition feed is your home screen. It shows recent kudos and thank-yous across your organization. Take a moment to react to a teammate's post — a reaction is the smallest possible act of recognition and a good warm-up.
Step 2 — Give recognition
- Choose Give recognition (or Send kudos).
- Pick the teammate (or several) you want to recognize.
- Write a short, specific message — what they did and why it mattered.
- Optionally tag a company value and attach points.
- Post it. It appears in the feed for the team to see and react to.
Specific recognition lands better than generic praise. "Thanks for staying late to unblock the release" beats "great job."
Step 3 — Earn points and badges
Giving and receiving recognition earns points and can unlock badges and streaks. Open your profile to see your points balance, current streak, and badge progress, and check the Leaderboard to see where your team stands.
Step 4 — Redeem a reward
- Open Regalos (the rewards catalog).
- Browse categories and pick an item you can afford with your points.
- Submit a redemption. Depending on your organization's settings, it's fulfilled immediately or sent to an admin for approval.
- Track it under Orders.
Step 5 — Explore one more area
With the core loop done, try one of these:
- Add an event — put your birthday or work anniversary on the team calendar.
- Start a group gift — chip in with teammates on a shared present.
- Answer a pulse survey — give your manager a quick read on how things are going.
