The recognition feed is the heart of GiftSpark — a shared, public stream where teammates post kudos and thank-yous, tag company values, and react to each other's wins. It turns appreciation from a private message into a visible, searchable record that the whole organization can see and build on.

Kudos and thank-yous​

A recognition is a short, specific message from one person to one or more teammates. When you give recognition you can:

  • Recognize one teammate or several at once.
  • Tag a company value (for example, "Ownership" or "Customer first") so recognition reinforces culture.
  • Attach points that count toward the recipient's rewards balance.
  • Add detail about exactly what they did, so the praise is concrete.

The social feed​

Every recognition lands in the organization feed, where teammates can react and comment. This visibility is the point: seeing peers recognized models the behavior and makes appreciation contagious. The feed is browsable and searchable, so you can revisit who was recognized for what.

Values-based recognition​

Tagging recognition with a value links day-to-day appreciation to the behaviors your organization wants more of. Over time this produces a record of which values show up most — useful context for the surveys and insights area.
